JoVE has used aggressive marketing for at least the last two years, including marketing directly to faculty, who do not understand budget shortfalls without lengthy explanations.

I am wondering if anyone else has noticed if JOVE has become a lot more aggressive in their sales techniques. We have had recent dealings with them and it seems as if they have gotten extremely pushy lately. We have
been dealing with a particular salesman who is just overly aggressive and refusing to leave messages if I can’t answer the phone right away.
