Barbara,
We use Ex Libris Voyager. At the time we order, we put in the P.O. with a very brief record. When we receive the pdf files of records from Ingram, we overlay the brief records with a complete record. It is very easy and doesn't take much time. The ISBNs are matched during the load process. Please contact me directly if you have further questions.

Subject: [ACQNET-L] Ingram ordering question
Hi:
Are any of you using Ingram as a book vendor? If you do, I would like to talk to you about the process of ordering. Currently, I can download free, incomplete bibs when I order, but for full records, I have to wait until the book is invoiced, which means I have to merge the incomplete and the full record. It doesn't sound like much, but it adds up if we use Ingram heavily. What do others do?
Thanks,
Barbara Ring
