Hello All
We currently get shelf-ready (it should really be called pre-processing)
books for our approvals and some firm orders. We still check each book
against the marc record and route to cataloging those books that need more
work. We are going to start tracking the time it takes the book to get to
the shelf - from the time it's unpacked to the time it hits circulation to
be browsed. Has anyone done this and can provide benchmarks? How long
does it take your shelf-ready book to make it to the shelf?
