Hello,
The Professional Center Library at the WFU School of Law also receives
emails like this from time to time: from someone outside the Wake Forest
University community, most recently a flurry of them from Bernice Williams.

The first email that I got from Ms. Williams, I forwarded to the main
library here at Wake Forest. I did this because while we do get requests
like this from people outside of the Law School, the books requested were
completely out of the scope of a collection for a Law Library. When the
second one came to my email address, worded exactly as the first one, I was
a little suspicious and took a few minutes to investigate different
sources--especially the University directory-- to make certain that she
wasn't someone affiliated with WFU in some capacity such as student,
faculty, donor, or Alumni (she wasn't). Therefore, I felt certain that
this was something that I could delete with confidence.
Sorry to hear others have been "afflicted" with this problem, but rest
assured--you aren't the only one who's receiving them.
