Hello,

I'm hoping that any catalogers or any of you who work closely with catalogers out there can help me with this. Our institution is trying to figure out to what extent we should be performing authority work on our electronic resources. Traditionally we have done authority work on our e-resources, however now that we have services such as Academic Complete and Films on Demand in which we frequently lose access to resources loaded in our catalog, doing authority work on these materials has become more problematic. I was wondering if anyone could share some information with me about how your library handles authority work on subscription-based e-resources. Thanks for your help!

Sincerely,

Lindsay Barnett
