Hi, Ruth and all- the only way I know of making these comparisons is by contacting the database provider for a title and coverage list, and then using MS Access to compare the title lists on ISSN to see what overlap there is. I've had mixed luck in contacting database providers: some give you very detailed information, including title, ISSN, and the coverage dates in their A&I database, while others provide you only title and ISSN. The latter is only partially useful, because you can't tell whether the coverage dates overlap.
Ruth, if you're interested, I have a Word document where I've laid out the steps to use to compare two sets of data in MS Access. Let me know if you want me to send it to you.
I'll be very curious to know if anyone else out there has a better way!

Hello Everyone,
I'm new to acquisitions, and I need to determine which journals in our indexing and abstracting databases overlap with our full text databases. Serials Solutions just has data for full text, so an overlap report there isn't quite as helpful. Does anyone have suggestions/experience/advice on the best way to go about this? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!
