Save your seats! The Northern California Technical Processes Group (NCTPG) 76th annual program is only a month away! Come and hear innovative speakers from academic and public libraries share their experiences and perspectives on this year's theme: "Libraries Without Walls revisited." Presenters include Elaine Franco, Principal Cataloger, UC Davis Library; Sarah Houghton, Director of San Rafael Public Library and Librarian In Black blogger; Terry Reese, Gray Family Chair for Innovative Library Services at Oregon State University, and John Wenzler, Associate Dean of Digital Futures, Technical Services, and Information Technology at San Jose State University's King Library, which has a unique partnership with the San Jose Public Library system.
The program will be held at the San Francisco Public Library's Koret Auditorium (lower level) on Friday, May 17, from 9:30am-3:15pm. Note that registration and morning refreshments begin at 8:45am. There will be a break for lunch (bring your own or dine nearby) as well as several shorter breaks throughout the day. Space is limited, and this is sure to be an exciting event. Register online now for the price of $35.00 per person. Registration at the door will be $40.00 (cash or check). Registration includes your one-year membership in NCTPG. Please visit the NCTPG homepage ( http://www.nctpg.org/ ) to register and read more about our annual program.
