The 2013 annual conference of the Ohio Valley Group of Technical
Services Librarians is now less than 3 months away! Information about
the conference and registration is below.
Conference information
The Conference Planning Committee has decided to include a preconference
that is free to all registered conference attendees. The topic? RDA!
Preparing to Meet RDA Challenges: A Practical Approach will be offered
by Andrea Morrison and Taemin Park of Indiana University, Bloomington.
The preconference will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, from 1:00 to
5:00 p.m. in Crabbe Library at Eastern Kentucky University.
The full conference will be held Thursday, May 16 and through noon or so
on Friday, May 17. All events will take place on the campus of Eastern
Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky, located about 27 miles south
of Lexington.

Hotel information has also been posted to the conference website.
Richmond does not have a conference hotel. There are three hotels, all
in close proximity to each other with rooms reserved for the
conference. Be sure to mention Ohio Valley Librarians when you make
your reservation.
Registration
Registration for OVGTSL 2013 is now open! Register at
http://ovgtsl.eventbrite.com. If you plan to attend the preconference,
please indicate so on the registration form. If you have any questions
about registration, please contact Kelly Smith (kelly.smith2_at_eku.edu).
