Dear Colleagues,
I apologize if this has question has been posted before. We are starting to look at developing a policy regarding public patrons and/or alumni who inquire about accessing or downloading our eBooks.
For those of you in academic libraries that are open to the public or allow alumni to use your facilities :
1.) Do you allow public patrons or alumni to access eBooks through your online catalog?
2.) Do you allow public patrons or alumni to download eBooks that you have purchased or have subscriptions to?
a. Do you allow chapter only downloads?
b. Do you allow downloading of entire books?
Please respond to me directly off-list. I will summarize and post to the list.
Many thanks in advance for any information you are willing to share with me!
