Dear acquisitions colleagues,

I've agreed to take over administration of acqweb.org, the home of the acqnet-l archive and some other library acquisitions-related content. Just a few years ago, the website moved and underwent a comprehensive overhaul, guided in large part by feedback from the acquisitions community via a survey. Since then, we have developed some blog content and maintained the archive of this mailing list.

As a follow-up, I would love to know what you think about ACQWEB's role in supporting the daily work of library acquisitions and its relevance to the acquisitions community. So, as the new website administrator, I thought I'd start with a couple of broad questions for the community about the site:

1) Do we need acqweb.org?
2) If so, what for?

Best regards,

Stephen
