singer-songwriter fare from Cape Verde and Angola; world-premiere
recordings of string quartets by Ben Johnston; obscure chamber works by
François Chauvin; a brilliant new trio recording by jazz pianist Fred
Hersch; and much more.
CD HotList is an independently published guide to new releases, compiled
each month with the needs of libraries in mind. As always, it is
available free to the public.
