Subject: [ACQNET-L] Online Displays of New Acquisitions
Hello everyone,
I’m brand new to my position and was hoping to get some feedback from more experience Acquisitions and Collection Development Librarians. I work for an academic library who would like to find a way to display new acquisitions, particularly our approval plan books, online. We have tried some social media sites such as LibraryThing and Shelfari, but were unhappy with the display and the quality of the descriptive data provided for each title. I was wondering if anyone else has found an easy to use, professional looking tool that allows you to create digital displays of your recent acquisitions.
Thanks,
Lindsay Barnett
