Recently Amazon decided that did not work well for Libraries, the one login for the account, and they now allow multiple users again. Everyone here logs in under their own email and use one main corporate account. They now manage their own orders again. Amazon went to back to this way about two months ago.

We used to be able to have separate users and separate carts through our corporate account with Amazon, but they changed the policy and now the account can have only one user and only one cart. I think they must have had some kind of problem (maybe workers ordering things for personal use??) to change their policy. It does not make things easy for library workers. I called Amazon to talk about it, but they said that is how their corporate ordering policy works now. They want one point person in charge of all ordering. Now the children's and YA librarian have to sign in as me to use the account. Obviously, even the fact that they call the account a "corporate" account indicates they are not designed to cater to libraries.
I know this doesn't help, but you have my sympathy.

Is anyone using Amazon Web Services (AWS) to maintain multiple users creating carts/placing orders in Amazon? The current corporate account combines all our selectors orders into one and for accounting purposes we need them separated. I may be making this more complicated than it really is but I am having a problem applying Amazon's directions to my library's needs.
Thanks in advance,
