Re: Library users purchasing your replacement copies?

Hi all,

Thanks for your replies--and also to those who replied to me offline. It's
about 50/50--those who allow users to purchase replacements with some
conditions, and those who don't.

At this point I'm adjusting our policy to indicate that we may permit it
under some circumstances but eventually we may phase this policy out
completely, depending on how many more lost/damaged books there are. There
seemed to be rash of them come in in recent days so it was uppermost on my
mind!
