Back in 2008, we (Jill Emery, then at the University of Texas, now at
Portland State and Graham Stone from the University of Huddersfield)
started a discussion about e-resource management. We began by swapping
ideas between the US and UK about what e-resource management meant to
us and how we could put it into practice. After much debate we settled
on the electronic resources lifecycle upon which to base our ideas and
TERMS was born.

All 6 TERMS: techniques for electronic resource management are now
posted to our blog and to our facebook group page:
http://6terms.tumblr.com/

Links to coordinated workflow processes are also provided here.

At this point, Graham Stone & Jill Emery would appreciate any
additional feedback individuals would like to give on the posted 6
TERMs and on the associated workflows.

Feedback can be given via postings to the facebook group page: TERMS,
directly to our twitter feed: 6terms, through the comments section on
the blog, and directly to jemery_at_pdx.edu or G.Stone_at_hud.ac.uk

In addition, if you have developed local workflows that you would like
to share, these can be submitted directly to us or else posted
directly to the blog using the submitted by feature in the left-hand
menu bar. Please make sure to give appropriate attribution to yourself
or colleagues.

Jill and Graham will continue to solicit for feedback and hope to hold
at least one virtual presentation on TERMs later in 2012.

We look forward to receiving your feedback!

Jill Emery & Graham Stone
