Subject: CD HotList notifications -- no longer via ACQNET

Hi, ACQNETers --

Something has been brought to my attention that I should have long ago
realized on my own: namely, that since CD HotList is now published by a
commercial entity instead of independently, it's no longer appropriate for
me to send announcements of new issues to ACQNET (which has a strict and
thoroughly reasonable policy of excluding commercial announcements).

So here's the deal: if any ACQNET reader would like to continue receiving
a monthly announcement when each new issue of CD HotList is posted, please
contact me off-list and I'll make sure the announcements get to you.
(Please also note that if you hit <reply> in response to this message,
your message will go to ACQNET, so instead please send a separate message
directly to me. My email address is below.)

Nothing else is changing about CD HotList. It continues to be a completely
free service at http://cdhotlist.btol.com.

Thanks and happy holidays,
Rick Anderson (Editor)
