Video acquisitionsJulie,
Welcome to DC. Two legal and safe resources we often use are http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/ and http://www.snagfilms.com/. The latter has ads. Don't give up on ILL, though. You may find a willing partner.
Good luck,

Subject: [ACQNET-L] Video acquisitions
Hello,
I'm the librarian at the new DC campus of the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. We only just started in the fall 2010 semester. Our acquisitions budget is small and our video budget is non-existent. However, I have a professor this semester that needs 6 (expensive) videos and have no funds to purchase them. I think ILL is not typically an option when it comes to videos. So my question is, are there any options that I am missing? This may sound like a newbie question, but I have not been in this situation before and want to cast a wide net.
Thank you!
