Apologies for Cross-Posting:
The ALA ALCTS-CMDS Collections Assessment Committee is planning a
program for ALA Annual on collections assessment data. Specifically, we
plan to address what data goes into collections assessment decisions,
how to best organize it all, how to make it easily accessible for
decision-makers, and how to maximize the data to make decisions and to
make your case. We are interested to hear what you are doing at your
institutions to address these aspects, or any aspect of the process. We
are interested in processes at all types of libraries (academic,
special, public, and school) Please send along your best practices and I
will summarize for the list. Please also indicate if you want your
contact info included in the summary.
Also, if you think what is being done at your institution is noteworthy,
please indicate whether you might be interested in participating on the
panel as a speaker for the session.
Sincerely,
Cynthia Holt
