I don't know any American supplier, but we at the American University of
Beirut get French books through http://www.harrassowitz.de/ they supply
books from all over Europe and I am sure they ship to the us. Also, wre
select from Amazon.fr

I am looking for American vendors of French language childrens books. We
used to select/buy from Scholastic Canada but they are now requiring
prepayment and won't do backorders. If anyone knows of a good American
publisher or jobber for these, please let me know. Ideally, the vendor would
have a collection development service or print catalog.
