E-resource licenses and Research Parks

Sorry for the duplication on multiple lists.

 

Our University is developing a "Research Park" which will be attached to the
University, but the people who work there will be employees of private
companies.  The University would like the Library to provide service and
resources to the research done in the park, and the Library is concerned
that our e-resource licenses will not allow these folks as authorized users.

 

Are there other libraries willing to share their experience in this matter?


Were Research Park employees allowed to use the university's databases and
ejournals like other patrons?  

Did the library need to renegotiate the licenses to allow this use?  Or did
you try and fail?
