Greetings,
I am trying to create a non-librarian professional level job description
that would describe a position that would be useful to both IT and
Technical Services, a position assisting our IT manager with all the
software and systems work in public services, and assisting technical
services with EDI, batch-loading, generating reports from the LMS,
managing usage statistics. Before you all pass out laughing, or ask if
this person is expected to sew their own clothes as well, let me add
this would be for a relatively small campus where electronic resource
management/licensing is handled by our central university system.
Doesn't matter whether the person reports to IT or Technical services,
and if you have such a position written for an entry level librarian, I
would be interested in that as well.

So the America I loved still exists, if not in the White House or the
Supreme Court or the Senate or the House of Representatives or the
media.
The America I love still exists at the front desks of our public
libraries.
