We have had a faculty member suggest that we purchase a single podcast using their library budget allocation for their department. This is not a package from a vendor, but rather a one lecture download from the podcast author for a fee. Does anyone have any information they can share regarding purchasing and licensing restrictions for this type of podcast for library use? Have other libraries made this type of purchase?
