Touzot is a company of excellent reputation. We use them for
subscriptions, but I can't comment on their new book announcements
because we don't use that service.
We get French new book notifications with Aux Amateurs. About once a
month, they send an e-mail to each selector. Whoever you designate as a
system administrator can set up the e-mail links and general subjects
each person will get. The e-mail provides a hot link to the file of
titles from which they can make their selections. The selected titles
go into a folder that your acquisition staff can retrieve and review
prior to placing actual orders. It works well for us. Their contact
info. is:

We have used Touzot as the vendor for our French language selection plan
for many years. They have always provided excellent service. They can
provide slips or forms at your discretion.

I would also recommend Aux Amatuers for french materials:

Cassalini also does all of Europe, including france:

In the interest of exposing all the possibilities, I haven't seen anyone
mention Erasmus yet and they do have an office in Paris as well as in
the Netherlands and have full services such as slip profiles and
auto-ship approval plans in addition to standing orders and firm orders.
I believe all of the mentioned vendors so far have web sites.

You may want to consider Erasmus Books Paris ( http://www.erasmus.fr/).
Contact Dirk Raes (dirk_at_erasmusbooks.nl) for more information. He
travels regularly to the US and will be happy to meet with you.
I personally find their website easier to use than Touzot's.
USC uses Eramus, Touzot, and Aux Amateurs.

Thank you very much to all those who sent replies to the list in
response to my original posting. I found the comments very helpful, and
will now work with our acquisition staff to investigate services
further.
Since all the responses went to the list (Thank You for that, this is
why we have a listserv!), I won't summarize any further. I will say
that we've used several of the recommended companies in the past for a
variety of ordering needs, but the comments people specifically
addressed regarding French-language new title announcement services
really helped a lot.
Merci!
