EARLY BIRD ANNOUNCEMENT – SAVE THE DATE – THURSDAY, JANUARY 22, 2009

The Association for Library Collections & Technical Services (ALCTS)
announces a midwinter symposium – IMPLEMENTING AN INSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORY:
BENEFITS AND CHALLENGES on Thursday, January 22, 2009 in Denver, Colorado

Has your institution begun to develop, or is it considering developing, an
institutional repository? If so, will there be a role for the library?
Whether you answered ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to this question, please join us to
consider the challenges, pitfalls and promises of establishing and

models that will provide attendees with the means to make informed decisions
regarding the introduction of an institutional repository.
