Subject: Fund Structure Revisited
Hi All,
Several months ago I posted a question regarding fund structure, and
several of you
asked me to share the responses. I received only a few responses, but they
basically followed one of the 2 following patterns:
1. First letter/number of fund = campus
2^nd -4^th letters = dept/discipline/etc.
5^th letter = material type
Examples: mecop > economics periodical for main campus
wbusm > business book for westside campus
2. First 4 letters = dept/discipline
4^th letter = material type
Examples: stats > standing order for statistics title
biolp > biology periodical
Both approaches are somewhat similar. I hope you find this helpful.
