Subject: ETD permissions letter

Hello,
I'm writing from the Marriott Library at the University of Utah. We are
interested in hearing from anyone who has undertaken a retrospective
scanning of theses and dissertations project. We are considering a
similar project. We would like your input on how you handled permissions
from the authors as you digitized their paper theses and dissertations.
Did you receive permissions from authors? Did you send opt-out letters?
We would be interested in any information you can provide.
