Hello,

In January, I posted an inquiry on several discussion lists.

The text of my inquiry was edited to match the interests of each list:

Has anyone recently worked with consultants to review/assess system support,
work flow, governance, and/or organizational structure in Technical Services?

Has anyone recently worked with consultants to review/assess Technical
Services, organization structure and communication, revising work flow and
job descriptions? We will be reviewing all aspects of the department, with a
focus on integrated system maintenance and support.

Thank you for all of the responses.  I received referrals and good advice on
selecting a consultant. 

I received a total of 11 recommendations for R2, some specifically
identifying the consultants from that firm.  Here is a list of the
recommended consultants.

R2 Consulting - 6
R2 Consulting (Rick Lugg and Ruth Fischer) - 5 

Deb Johnson - Johnson and Johnson Consulting - 1

Fanning Howey and Associates - 1

Dr. Stephen Wright, University of Ohio - 1

Bob Smith, Robert Smith and Associates, Medina, OH - 1

I also received the names of two people, but the librarians providing the
referrals had not worked directly with the consultants:
Laurie Phillips
Joan Conger
