ACQNET: Need help contacting Doody's Review Service

Subject: Need help contacting Doody's Review Service

Hello all,

If you are using Doody's Review Service, you know it is possible to renew
the service online. We are doing that, but the only documentation we have
for our Accounts Payable department is a screen capture or print out of the
renewal screen. 

Our AP folks are asking for some sort of proof this company exists.

We have searched the DRS website, Doody's Enterprises website, and Hoover's
for business information. We have had no luck finding a telephone number or
any way to contact a human being.  We have searched old print files, but the
information on those documents is out of date and leads to dead ends.

We have received no replies to our emails.  The generic phone number
312-644-7640 listed on Doody's Enterprises is repeated in the Hoover's
information.  It is a voice mail reply with no options for reaching anyone
in the company.

We continue to receive these 'do not reply' emails warning Doody's will
cancel our subscription within the next few days. AP will not pay the bill
until we can provide some type of documentation that provides an address,
the name of a person, and a phone number that an Accounts Payable employee
can call to verify the company exists.

So, has anyone ever talked to a human being at Doody's Review Service?  Do
you have the name of a human or a telephone number you can share?

It's ok if you are laughing.  I thought it was funny a few days ago, and
I'll probably see the humor again next week.
