Subject: Eastern Book Company and no acquisitions module workflow
Hey all,
Do any of you use EBC (Eastern Book Company) as a book vendor and
DO NOT have an acquisitions module for their ILS? Maybe you made a
homegrown
Access database or use something else. Even if you don’t use EBC, I’d be
very interested
in learning about what you do. We’re trying to streamline our workflow
and don’t want to
re-invent the wheel. Specifically, we’re trying to find an efficient
method to keep track of book
status outside of our purchase order system.
BTW, we’re a small academic library purchasing between 1200-1500 books year.
Thanks,
Mike
