Subject: STM Book Prices Trends

We have been asked to do a five year budget projection for monographs 
to support a curriculum proposal for a doctoral program whose students 
will focus on research in genetics/genomics/, nursing and public health.

I am looking for an analysis of STM (science/technology/medicine) or 
health sciences book prices and trends. I would appreciate article citations 
or referral to knowledgeable persons who might be able to point us in the 
right direction.
