ACQNET: Amazon France is denying our credit cards

Subject: Amazon France is denying our credit cards

Hello, everyone,
    I hope someone on the list can help with this problem. Beginning last
summer Amazon France began denying our univeristy purchasing cards.
All other Amazon sites take it with no problem. Even the card with no 
restrictions on
it has been denied. We have not received any satisfactory explanation 
from either
Amazon France or our bank.
    Has anyone else not been able to use Amazon.fr to order material 
because their credit cards
were denied? If so, have you been able to find out why? It seems to me 
that if one
Amazon site takes our card the others should, too.
