Subject:  Collection valuation

I've been searching for a "quick" formula for determining the value 
of a collection for insurance purposes.  I did search the archives and 
didn't find anything recent.

Does anyone have any suggestions?  I'm especially looking for values 
for an academic law library.  Thanks.
