Subject: Audio Book Packaging for Libraries
[Ed. note: Please send any feedback directly to Ms. Russek -thanks]
I have searched through the archives for ACQNet and ACQWeb but cannot find
information about packaging for audio books in the messages.
How should audio books on CD be packaged for library use?
We are looking at different options for a new product and
would like some feedback from the professionals who see how
CD's are best managed in the library setting. What
are the key characteristics that you require -- durability,
size, shape, etc? Similarly, is it preferable to receive
larger audio book sets in several small packages than one
large package? For example, do you prefer to
have CD's packaged two or three to a plastic case
(like a clamshell) or all
12 together in one case?
Thank you for your help with this matter.
Sincerely,
Juleah Russek
