Dear Subscribers:

It was bound to happen eventually. And naturally, the day before I leave 
for
ALA Midwinter was the perfect time for me to make the goof of the 
century!  I sent out a
message to all of ACQNET-L that was intended for the ACQNET Editorial Board.
Hence the lack of formatting of the posting, by the way.

As you all know, ACQNET does not accept advertising or commercial 
postings. We
try to be sensitive to this since Acqusitions folks get enough of it as 
it is.  So I was
trying to find a way to slim down the promotional-sounding  text in Ms. 
Frank's posting
without having to make a big deal about it. This is the type of question 
I pose to the
ACQNET Editorial Board on occasion. (Now you know what they do!)
   
I have apologized to Ms. Frank, but then, she saw the posting and 
apologized too!

So, the posting will stand as is, since it's too late to do anything 
about it, and if
you want to give Ms. Frank any suggestions about her question, please 
send them
directly to her.

And never mind my question...
