Subject: Bib records for AV materials
Perhaps not directly Acq related, but...
Is anyone out there using a vendor to download short records for
audiovisual materials into their automation system? Our public library
consortium members want to be able to circulate this popular material
immediately, without having to wait for a full MARC record to appear in
the system. If you are downloading short records for av, as we already do
for books, what vendor and/or publications are you using, and how
successful is the process?
Thanks!
