Subject: CD-ROM Inquiry
Folks,
We are trying to acquire the following title.
Legislative History of the Convention on the Rights of the Child,
1978-1989.
Geneva : United Nations, 1996.
The wrinkles include (but are not restricted to):
1. It has never existed except as a CD-ROM.
2. It is no longer available from the UN. They know of no place where
it can be acquired.
3. There is apparently no record in OCLC.
4. A copy is held by Princeton University. At the moment that is the
only extant copy we know of. (We are looking into utilizing that copy to
some extent, but due to legal and loan-policy issues, that may not be
the optimal solution; it would be ideal if we could locate our own copy
of the CD-ROM.)
5. I'm not aware of any vendors who deal in out-of-print CD-ROMS.
Any ideas?
