I believe we have dealt with these folks in the past, including Dr.
Solomon. If it's the same folks I am thinking of, they are selling
sets of "ethnic" almanacs/encyclopedias (5 or 6 volumes each) for
African Americans, then Hispanic Americans, then Native Americans,
and now European Americans.
However, the African American (set) is a reprint of a reprint already
in our collection. The others are reprints, I believe, as well. So,
as always, buyer beware.
My professional opinion is that these are somewhat useful, but may
very well duplicate other authoritative sources you may already have.
On the other hand, if you are a very small library, they might do to
help you "bridge the gap" for school assignments.

Is anyone familiar with "Multicultural Press".
We have had several phone calls (various interesting offers),
mostly from a Dr Solomon. I'm pretty sure this could be a scam,
but am looking for any information about this person or company.
Thanks,
