Subject: ACQNET: Tattle Taping

We had a discussion this morning about tattle taping of books.
Presently, we tattle tape all books and bound journals. We are
thinking of curtailing our tattle taping and either taping every
other book saving time and money. Right now we spend about $7,500/yr.
I was wondering what other academic libraries are doing? I assume
everyone is taping to some degree, but doubt everyone is taping every
single item. Are there any alternatives out there?

Thanks,
