ACQNET: Disposition of gifts from other campus units

Subject:  Disposition of gifts from other campus units

I would like to know if other Acquisition units have policies regarding 
the disposition of materials
purchased by other academic units for the Library.  Do you treat these 
as any other "gift"? 
Do you make any special provision for these items?
