The Association for Asian Studies (http://www.aasianst.org/) has
Committees by region (Asia, Southeast Asia) and within those, there are
affiliate groups of specialist librarians. I'd recommend you post this
same question to their listservs.
The affiliate groups' webpages often have lists of vendors. See for
example:

click on CORMOSEA, Committee on Research Materials on Southeast Asia.

Incidentally, I believe the Library of Congress' offices in Jakarta and
New Delhi also provide a book supplier-type of service to U.S.
libraries. You may pay more per item, but you get MARC records and their
selection expertise... May be worthwhile depending upon the volumne of
material you need to bring in.

Not sure what your question is. Save the last: Nibondh has deteriorated
since the death of the proprietor. Prices have shot way up, and we've
tried to identify alternatives, like Chulalongkorn University bookstore;
Suksit Siam bookstore; and LC. There are others, including several on
the internet. Serendipity Books in Australia; BookBarn in Oregon. There
must be others.

Subject: Southeast Asian vendors
I am interested in a question not addressed by ACQNET for a number of
years -- vendors that cover Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand and
Indonesia. Interest includes both foreign and U.S.-based companies.
Potentially interested in vendors for subscriptions and firm orders. I
have had some dealings with White Lotus in Bangkok. ALCTS also lists
Nibondh Books in Bangkok -- does anyone have experience with them?
Regards,
David
