Subject:  Insurance Claim: Average Prices for Non-Western Materials

The Bowker Annual provides average prices for books published in North
America and parts of Europe.  I am looking for average prices for
non-Western books and other materials, particularly CJK materials.  If you
have information about how to find average prices for non-Western
materials, I would appreciate hearing from you.

As you probably know, the UH-Manoa Library experienced a catastrophic
flood on October 30, 2004.  I am working on justifying the claim the
Library is submitting for insurance reimbursement.  Any advice you might
have regarding an filing insurance claim for materials lost due to a
natural disaster would also be welcome.

Please send information to me directly.  I will be glad to summarize
responses for the ACQNET list.  Thank you so much for your help and
advice.
