Subject: Fund Allocation
Hello all;
I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their methods for
allocating funds on a
yearly basis.
Currently, we use a formula that is based on Student Contact Hours, the
size of the current
collection, circulation of said collection and the average cost of a
book within each subject area.
We want to explore new ways of applying a formula that will better
reflect the growing number
of smaller and new academic programs the university is developing. The
current method does
not do justice to these kinds of programs for future development.
You may reply off list, if desired.
Thank you!
