Subject: RE - History, Inc.
I am sorry to report that we have not received our books, and they have
not responded to our phone calls, faxes, or letters since July 2003. We
sent a letter by FedEx in January of this year canceling our order and
requesting a refund for our prepayment. The letter was signed for by a
person in their sales department, but they did not respond. We have
turned this over to our university's accounting department but, as of
right now, they have not had any success getting our prepayment back
either.

Subject: Question about History, Inc.
Has anyone had experience purchasing books from History,
Inc. in Wilmette, IL?
In February 2002, we preordered and prepaid for the
"Master Directory of Motion Pictures" which was scheduled
to be published and shipped in November 2002. The last
information we had from them was in July 2003 when they
indicated the publication had been delayed about a month
or so. Since that time, they have not responded to phone
calls, faxes, or a letter.
