Subject: RE - Infosource Group
In 2000-02, we had dealings with these people. We ordered 2 items -
Canadian Healthcare Directory and Canadian Healthcare Report. We
received 2 sets of 3"x5" disks for Canadian Healthcare Directory- a
format which is not acceptable in our Library system - returned them
with their invoice (which was in the total of 466.84) for the other
title we received a 61 page spiral bound book with an invoice for
$543.89 (the original advertisement stated that for 475.00 we were to
receive 4 quarterly editions). The 61 page book is all we received. I
returned all to them by registered mail - It is interesting though - our
order actually went to Health Policy Research Group - we were invoiced
from Government Policy Research Group. In October 2002, I received a
letter from Collection Corporation of Canada acting on behalf of
Infosource Group of Companies (claiming non-payment) - I immediately
sent them all the correspondence by registered mail also the receipt
that the material which I returned by registered mail was received at
their end by B.Ali. After that point, we were not contacted again. I
would never deal with these people again. The material which was
supplied was substandard and not of any use in our Library. Trust this
answers your query.
Kind regards, Anne Deacon --
