Subject: SIRSI Unicorn Acquisitions Module

The Free Library of Philadelphia will be migrating from DRA Classic to
SIRSI by July 2004. I would like to hear from large library systems
that
have implemented either SIRSI Unicorn Acquisitions either on a full or
partial basis. Your feedback, both positive and negative, on the
following
features in SIRSI Acquisitions, is solicited:
* Selection Lists ---- does your public service staff participate in
creating selection lists to be reviewed and approved by Collection
Development?
* 9XX Ordering----have you found it more benefical than placing
orders on a vendor's website?
* On Order Records----are they visible to the public or shadowed
in your environments?
* Ordering Maps----are you able to successfully create bulk
orders in large systems by altering the order maps or templates?
How does this work in libraries that frequently change their grids?

Thank you for your help.
