Subject: Oracle finacials
Our university's legacy financial systems will soon be replaced with
Oracle Financials. One of the major changes for us is the fund
structure. We currently use 7-character fund codes and the Oracle
system uses a 15-character (+ 5-character expenditure type) fund
structure. We are wondering if other libraries who pay invoices in their
ILS and interface with their institution's Oracle financial system
enter the Oracle fund in their ILS or some other fund structure which
you then map to the Oracle fund? We are currently running SIRSI's
Unicorn version 2001.
Thank you.
