I have spoken with the Vermont State Librarian about the problem with
the company in East Burke, Vermont.  We are gathering information 
concerning a possible fraud or scam that we would turn over to the Office 
of the Vermont Attorney General. We understand that Funding Logistics 
& Research Company has advertised directories about foundations. 
When the directories are ordered and checks mailed, the checks are 
cashed but material is not received.  If your library has experience with 
this company and you would be willing to share this information and be 
included in the message we send to the Attorney General's Office, please 
send the information.  If you have successfully dealt with this company we 
would like to know that, as well. We would appreciate your help.  Also, it 
should be noted that most of the mail sent from Vermont has a White River 
Junction postmark.
