ACQNET: Funding Logistics and Research Co.

Subject: Funding Logistics and Research Co.

Last fall, my director received a blue postcard from Funding Logistics
& Research Co. with an East Burke, VT address and a White River
Junction, VT postmark. It was advertising The Directory of the Major
North Carolina Foundations, for a "sale price" of $79.95. She asked me
to order it. It was a prepay.

I have never received it although the check has been cashed to a bank
in Riverside, RI. Our business office is pursuing this to determine if this
business exists and what happened to our check.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?  I was just wondering if anyone else
has gotten such an offer for a directory of their state's foundations or
anything else from Funding Logistics.
