Subject: RE: ACQNET: Videos from the Far East
I have 4 sites to offer, 3 of which which we've only recently become
aware
of. To date, though, we haven't built up a history of dealing with any
of them.
http://www.amazon.co.jp
They do deal in AV material and there is an
English language version of the webpage.
http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/member/product-info.html
Products on offer are DVD's, CD's and videos
The site is very easy to navigate. We've only recently had occasion to
place an order with them.
http://www.orientvisual.com/
Canadian-based. Again, we have not used
their services but have successfully conducted email correspondence with
them to more closely identify something we were looking for. Most of
their product appears to be DVD or VCD - a common format for
Chinese-sourced material I understand. I'm not sure about videos.

The emphasis seems very much on VCD
format, though DVD is also listed as a format dealt in.
