Hello Deborah, I divide up the vendors based on the locations the
imprints are from. I have culled some vendors by continent.

http://faculty.winthrop.edu/maysa/AcqTools/AcqDept_Americas.html
"Américas" shows vendors for stuff from Latin America, U.S., and
Canada. I don't know which country you have in mind by "foreign
vendors", so I'm sending you the link to vendor listings as a starting
point. You can change continent by choosing a different continent
(with vendors specializing in specific countries) from the pulldown
menu in the middle.

Hope this helps.

Best,

antje

We use Otto Harrassowitz who are situated in Wiesbaden, Germany. They
are absolutely fantastic - unbelievable record management in addition
to great customer service. In the 30+ years we have been usin
never been disappointed. Harrassowitz not only deals with
German titles but is also capable of getting other language material.

I use Busca, Inc. and they are very good at obtaining difficult science
titles and they have a wonderful staff. They are located in Hector, NY.

Deborah,

We've been using several vendors for our foreign materials:
Harrassowitz for German works, Casalini for Italian, Puvill for Spanish
and Aux Amateurs for French. All have web based ordering. We have been
very pleased.

Deborah,

You didn't say which countries/languages you needed. We've had good
experiences with Harrassowitz for German things and with the Latin
American Bookstore for Spanish (Spain, Mexico, Latin America) things.
